The Butterfly pea Flower (Clitoria ternatea), also known as blue pea, aprajita, Cordofan pea and Asian pigeonwings, is a plant from the family Fabaceae and is commonly found throughout South East Asia. The Butterfly pea tea can be made both hot and cold, with the cold variety being mixed with additions such as lemon juice, honey, mint, cinnamon, passion fruit, hibiscus, ginger, and of course, a variety of Spirits!
