Dried Cuttlebone, also known as cuttlefish bone, is a hard, brittle internal shell found in all members of the family Sepiidae. Cuttlebone is composed primarily of aragonite.

Cuttlebones, like oyster shells, are commonly used as an all natural, organic calcium-rich dietary supplement for birds, chinchillas, hermit crabs, variuos reptiles, shrimp, and snails. They are not intended for human consumption.
