Cattails, Live Pond Plants,

These are our Farm Grown plants out of our 10 year old landscape pond. You will receive a strong rhizome ( the root like underground part) attached to the above ground cut stalk, The stalk will be cut approximately 2-4in.

What is most important is the healthy Rhizome, which feeds your plant and will spread and offer you many more cattails in coming years. You will receive one cattail plant, attached to a live rhizome that will root and spread.

Cattails need no special care. Rainwater and a thick soupy mud that remains water filled ( or extremely damp year around) is all that is needed. Cattails will spread, fast! You will need to maintain them yearly if you don't want them to dominate the landscape.
