Wild Garlic Mustard is a herbaceous biennial plant growing from a white taproot that smells and tastes like horseradish. It is known to be invasive in the US and gets a bad reputation for taking over fields and woodlands. Although it is invasive, It is a very useful plant and if we were taught how to use the plant rather than spray pesticides to destroy it, I can't help but believe many of the associated problems with the plant would disappear.
