Other known names for this herbal plant include Queen of the Meadow, Joe-Pye , kidney-root, joe pye weed, sweet Joe-Pye weed, or trumpet weed. All parts of the Queen of the Meadow plant including the leaves, stems, flowers, roots and stalks can be made into herbal tea, tinctures, extracts and medicinal salve. If one doesn't prefer tea or tincture, the powdered Queen of the Meadow can be used to make capsules.
