The Solomons Seal plant is also known as Fragrant Solomon's Seal, Lady's Seals, Saint Mary's Seal, Sealwort Yu Zhu, True Solomon's Seal, Dropberry, Sealroot, American Solomon's Seal, King Solomon's Seal, Small Solomon's Seal, and Dropberry.

The plant is a herbaceous, perennial herb native to the United States. The Solomons Seal plant grows up to two feet tall bending in an articulate fashion. Flowers bloom in cooler weather, usually from April through June. The inedible fruit is a small berry around the size of a pea.
