For a relaxing bath, a sachet full of flowers ran under hot water is mild, but relaxing both to the mind and body. Note: For Herbal Lavender Baths make sure to use sachets, the flowers are small and could clog up your drain.

Potpourri can easily be made with the flowers, use alone for a mild scent or add essential oil for true lavender potpourri. You can extract the oils from a batch of flowers and then use the oil over your dried flower for a stronger, longer lasting scent. Orris root can be used as a preservative at the ratio of 1/4 cup of orris root per 4 cups of lavender.
