Caraway seeds grow best in sandy, well drained soil as well as full sun. Caraway does not transplant well, so direct sowing after the last spring frost is recommended, or, in the fall for the following years Spring germination.
Plant Carum Carvi seeds 1/4" deep in rows 18" apart. You can
thin the seedlings down to 6-8" apart. Germination of caraway
is notoriously slow.
