The scent of chamomile is a soft, delicate aroma and can often be found in potpourri, potpourri blends and in the oils of the flowers. Studies in Germany have shown Chamomile to have some antibacterial, anti-fungal, anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties. The properties of Chamomile are widely recognized around the world, thus this herb is commonly found in natural hair products, perfumes and skin products.

Organic Chamomile is Native to Asia, Europe, Australia and North America. Escaping cultivation, Chamomile now grows wild in the Northern U.S and can be found mostly in waste areas and along roadsides. Use caution when foraging this plant, waste areas are sometimes not suitable for foraging clean material.
