A perennial herbaceous plant, the flowers of Coltsfoot bloom in early spring with the leaves oddly appearing after the flowers. The Coltsfoot flower resembles Dandelions which bloom around the same time in late March early April.
It is suggested by many that Coltsfoot should be used short term.
