Start the Cardamom seeds indoors in the winter. It takes around 30-45 days to germinate the cardamom seeds so they poke through the soil, it then takes about 90 days for the seedlings to grow large enough to survive being transplanted outside, or if growing inside, the transplant to a pot able to support a 3-5 foot tall plant. Cardamom requires special care with soil, watering and possibly supplementing nutrients. It should be considered for advanced growers or those seeking to educate themselves sufficiently enough to allow your grow to be successful.
