The Linden Tree, Native to North America, Asia and Europe is also referred to as the Basswood or Lime tree. They are mostly large, deciduous trees, reaching 65 to 130 ft tall. The Linden Trees are hermaphroditic, having perfect flowers with both male and female parts, pollinated by insects.
