Red Root is a low growing, woody perennial shrub in the buckthorn family. Red Root blooms small,
white flowers yielding a small black fruit.
Red Root is monoecious, meaning it has both male and female organs.
Red Root can also increase the nitrogen levels in soil.
NOTE: Red Root Seeds can be challenging to germinate.
Customers have had success by pouring near-boiling water over the seeds and letting them soak overnight.
After this procedure, do a cold stratification period of 30 to 90 days.
