The White Willow Tree is a type of Willow native to Europe and Asia. It is a medium-sized deciduous tree growing up to 30-90 Feet Tall. A fast growing tree with shallow root systems that can lead to major problems with foundations, septic tanks, drains and water lines. When planting near structures, it is suggested to use root barriers or plant the Willow tree a good distance from houses, out buildings and underground utilities. White Willow is also prone to certain diseases so preventive maintenance and seasonal inspections are a good idea if the tree is part of your home landscape.
